Live are teaming up with their New England neighbors to the north, Allagash Brewing Company for a Tap Takeover!  Not just any Tap Takeover though...this is the ALLAGASH BASH!!!  Portland, Maine's finest craft beer will be flowing from 10 of Backstage's Taps.


As if that isn't enough to get your craft-brewski-enjoyin-self over to Backstage Eat. Drink. Live., there will also be special food pairings created just for this event!

The Skinny:  The awesome people at Backstage Eat. Drink. Live. are putting on a truly awesome and unique event.  They are hosting a CT Tap Takeover.  That's right!!!  From each one of their taps, some of the finest CT brewed Craft Beer will be flowing.  A total of six breweries will be represented from all across the Nutmeg state.  This will also mark the first time that Craft Beer from Relic Brewing Company will be on tap at a Beer Bar.

So make sure to head on over to Backstage and try some great Connecticut Beer at an equally great Connecticut Beer Bar!

Tap Takeover / Beer Dinner Wednesday, April 18th!!!

The Skinny: The awesome folks over at Backstage Eat. Drink. Live. out in Torrington are teaming up with the equally awesome folks from Samuel Adams for a Tap Takeover/Beer Dinner hybrid event. I will try to summarize the offerings as best and as simply as I can.

There will be 6 Samuel Adams Beers (Summer Ale $5.50, Tasman Red $6, Latitude 48 $6, Boston Lager $5, Cherry Wheat $5 and a Mystery Beer).  You can choose to drink the beers individually or pair them with up with some of the specially created menu items.

Another option (listed at the bottom of the advertisement) is to create your own beer dinner.  For $49 plus tax and tip you can have the small plate, salad, your choice of one of the two big plates and then the dessert as well as any four 8 ounce Samuel Adams beers.
