1.  New England Brewing Company Friday, July 27th 6-9PM

Final Friday has arrived!!!  Head on over to New England Brewing Company for their end of the month party.  For just $5 bucks you get to hang out at the brewery with like minded hopheads and sample some of the best beers CT has to offer.  You will also have the opportunity to purchase some growlers of NEBC awesomeness.  Lastly, you can enjoy all of this awesome Craft Beer while rockin' out to tunes by Estrogen Highs!

The Skinny:  The folks at Mikro Beer Bar in Hamden are teaming up with their oh-so-close neighbors to the west, New England Brewing Company for what is bound to be an awesome & tasty beer dinner!!!

This is going to be a 5 course event!  Mikro Beer Bar's chef, Michael Fox (Not the guy from Back to the Future or Spin City...at least I don't think) will be creating 5 succulent courses from ingredients cultivated from local CT farms and producers!

1. New England Brewing Company Final Friday, Friday June 29th 6-9pm

Head over to New England Brewing Company in Woodbridge for their infamous "New England Brewing Final Friday". A $5 cover gets you drink tickets and a look at their cans!  Also enjoy the tunes from DJ Tim Daltrey spinning the hard rock and the fuzzed-out rock of California X.

2. Relic Brewing Company Beer Tasting, Friday June 29th, 5-7 pm
and Saturday, June 30th 12-3 pm

The Folks at Relic Brewing Company in Plainville invite you to come on down for a beer tasting!!! On tap will be: Whiting St (slightly hoppy easy drinker), Fortnight (classy American ipa), Houndstooth ( traditional Dark English Mild, malty and lucious). There will also be Antiquity (a unique old ale) Bottles for sale, and likely Whiting St bottles as well.

The Skinny:  The very fine folks at Prime 16 in New Haven are teaming up with their equally fantastic neighbors to the northwest, New England Brewing Company for this very special occasion.  This is the release of the Fuzzy Baby Ducks IPA (who doesn't love that name? seriously???)  The great minds behind the amazing New England Brewing Company brews will be on hand to greet their fans, chat about their brewskis and simply hangout with fellow craft beer enjoyers.

The Skinny:  What is a better way to head into summer than with some amazing craft beer and awesome BBQ?  Well how about you throw in some live music!  If that is your idea of a perfect warm weather afternoon, then I'm sure you are not alone.  Now just imaging having the beers, the BBQ, the music, all while cruising around the Long Island Sound!!!

That's right.  The Offshore Pour features all of this and more.  This festival, officially dubbed "A Craft Beer Boat Cruise" will be setting sail this June 16th, from the docks at Veteran's Park in Norwalk. 

Lets discuss the Craft Beer first and foremost.  There will be amazing craft beers on tap from more than a dozen different craft breweries, including CT favorites like New England Brewing Company and Old Burnside Brewing Company as well as beers from some other heavy hitters like Brooklyn Brewery, Sierra Nevada, Harpoon, Dogfish Head, Stone and more!

There will also be foreign beers from a few different distributors.

Now I know I mentioned that there will be BBQ as well.  The awesome folks from Bobby Q's in Westport, will be providing all the delicious BBQ you can handle (Trust me it's mouth watering)!

The details on who will be providing the live music are still be ironed out.

Lastly, you get to enjoy all of this while relaxing on The Island Belle and cruising throughout Long Island Sound!  Sounds like the makings of a truly wonderful Saturday afternoon.

Live. are putting on a truly awesome and unique event.  They are hosting a CT Tap Takeover.  That's right!!!  From each one of their taps, some of the finest CT brewed Craft Beer will be flowing.  A total of six breweries will be represented from all across the Nutmeg state.  This will also mark the first time that Craft Beer from Relic Brewing Company will be on tap at a Beer Bar.

So make sure to head on over to Backstage and try some great Connecticut Beer at an equally great Connecticut Beer Bar!
